Xiaopeng (Leo) Yuan

lyuan@infinity-law.comXiaopeng (Leo) Yuan was born and raised in Beijing, China. He moved to Canada in 2001 and attained his bachelor degree in electrical engineer at Queen’s University and his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Victoria.
Leo has an eclectic practice based on areas of law that involve real estate, business and personal planning. He assists clients with a variety of immigration matters, including business immigration and sponsorship immigration. He also works with his clients to establish and maintain business interests in British Columbia. Leo’s practice also includes a personal component, specifically in the areas of real estate transactions and estate planning.
Leo is very active in the community through his volunteer efforts, a character trait that he has exhibited throughout his life. Currently, he is the chair for the Canadian Bar Association’s Wills, Estates and Trusts section and a board member with the Victoria Chinatown Care Society. He has been volunteering at the Victoria Immigration and Refugee Centre and was awarded a 2019 Community Partnership Award for his contributions.
Leo is a father to two young daughters. Although he has left electrical engineering in his rear-view, he is very tech savvy and enjoys learning about the latest technology trends.
